i feel unsupported
Thursday, February 28th, 2008found out tuesday night about something that was to happen thursday morning, and didn’t know then that this was going to happen so fast.
i wasn’t able to be home yesterday during the day to go talk to them.
i am very upset about people cutting down trees for no reason.
i want to vocalize this, but you don’t want me to.
i feel like a howling mime, screaming on the inside but nobody hears me.
i am sorry.
but something’s gotta give. i feel so sick, and so powerless.
the neighbors are planning on cutting down a beautiful, majestic pecan tree in their backyard. thing is, this is also in our backyard, and we’ve really grown to like the shade it produces. and kristin didn’t want me to give them the letter i’d written, urging them to pleaseoplease not cut down Nature’s gift to us all. i feel like i gotta scream!
i’m not looking forward to getting home and seeing it destroyed.

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008worked on t.d.’s review today with him at nxnw. nice brewery conveniently around the corner from the office.
also reviewing some numbers on some projects. methinks we’ve overspent ourselves. i know i’ve overextended myself in recent months/years. time to cut back on all the above, make more time for writing proposals, poems, stories, qualifying papers…
yes, lots of my life to review. how much is really worth the effort i put in…
