2008: Hush: 2112 (Single)

This 2008 project was Howlingmime’s first attempt at re-interpreting someone else’s song using MIDI.  The output was as intended; Rush’s “2112″, an otherwise gripping piece laden with top-of-the-lungs, screaming drama comes off as elevator music duel solely to the arrangement.  This makes it a nice listen while writing software or hanging out around the house.

Howlingmime intends to put together an entire record’s worth of this material to release later in 2010.
