Other than my own voice (which admittedly needs work), I use a Martin Rosewood guitar, a red Epiphone Dot, a Marshall amp, a Boss Loop Station, a CryBaby wah pedal, a Fender mandolin, a Noble accordion, a Yamaha keyboard, Pearl drums, samples from the web and local radio, a kazoo, a slide whistle, a harmonica, a tambourine, a MacBook Pro (so new it’s not yet been used to record anything — thanks, work!), a PowerBook G4 running Garageband version 1, and Windows PC running ACID Pro version 2 (yes, I like the old school editions).

I’d like better recording equipment and a quiet room in which to record, but that’s asking a but much, so for now, I’ll stick to a simple Oktava mic though a Presonus preamp pumped directly into the computer. It’s not perfect, and I haven’t really mastered levels to remove fuzz from the recordings, but I don’t mind some imperfection.
